Public Hearing Board of Zoning Appeals
A public hearing has been scheduled for June 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to consider an application submitted by Tom and Lorna Westlake, to install an accessory structure in the front yard at 3621 Vineland Ave. The application was denied on the basis of having an insufficient front yard setback. Our Ashtabula Township Zoning Rules and Regulations states in accordance to Article 4, Section 441 that the required front yard setback shall be thirty-five (35) feet for non-conforming front yard setbacks in existing developed residential districts. He is proposing that the accessory structure setback 16.5’ feet from the front yard property line; hence it will require a 18.5’ foot variance. I must note that this property is a corner lot and this purposed placement is the only option for this resident. The Meeting will be held at 2718 North Ridge Road East.

All Concerts will be held at 7:00 p.m. In the event of poor weather conditions, the program will be inside at the East Side Presbyterian Church across from the gazebo. Refreshments will be available, and restrooms will be provided by East Side Presbyterian Church. No chairs will be furnished, please bring your own chairs if desired. We look forward to another fun-filled concert season. Thank you for attending.
